چکیده

Summary Myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) are clonal hematological conditions characterized by excessive production of one or more cell lines in the bone marrow. The blood cells produced often hyperactive their functions, which could lead to complications disorder‘s clinical course. We aimed define role granulocytic CD11b/CD18 expression for thrombotic risk MPN patients. investigated 110 patients with a histologically confirmed diagnosis myeloproliferative disease and control group 46 healthy volunteers. In patient group, we found an average 4.59 times higher than group. highest was subgroup polycythemia vera – 71.55% patients’ neutrophils. each essential thrombocythemia, myelofibrosis, chronic myeloid leukemia, history complication had without such complications.

Defining the Thrombotic Risk in Patients with Myeloproliferative Neoplasms

Polycythemia vera (PV) and essential thrombocythemia (ET) are two Philadelphia-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) associated with an acquired mutation in the JAK2 tyrosine kinase gene. There is a rare incidence of progression to myelofibrosis and myeloid metaplasia in both disorders, which may or may not precede transformation to acute myeloid leukemia, but thrombosis is the main cause...

Thrombotic disease in the myeloproliferative neoplasms.

Thrombosis is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with Philadelphia chromosome-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), particularly polycythemia vera and essential thrombocythemia. Mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of the acquired thrombophilic state associated with these diseases include abnormalities of MPN clone-derived blood cells, which display prothrombotic ...

Increased risk of lymphoid neoplasms in patients with Philadelphia chromosome-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms.

Association of myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN) with lymphoproliferative neoplasm (LPN) has been occasionally reported. The aim of this study, which included 353 patients with polycythemia vera and 467 with essential thrombocythemia, was to assess whether the risk of developing LPN is increased in MPN patients. Expected numbers of LPN incident cases were calculated based on 5-year age group, g...

Review Series CANCER-ASSOCIATED THROMBOTIC DISEASE Myeloproliferative neoplasms and thrombosis

Polycythemia vera (PV), essential thrombocythemia (ET), and primary myelofibrosis (PMF) are chronic myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) characterized by clonal expansion of an abnormal hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell. Their natural history is marked by thrombohemorrhagic complications and a propensity to transform into myelofibrosis and acute leukemia. The understanding of the MPN pathophysio...

Thrombin generation - a potentially useful biomarker of thrombotic risk in Philadelphia-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms.

The diagnosis of essential thrombocythemia and polycythemia vera is often made during a thrombotic event which can be serious. Philadelphia-negative chronic myeloproliferative neoplasia patients have an increased thrombotic risk. This is assessed using various scoring systems but these are far from ideal and individual risk. The currend trend to personalised medicine requires finding the most u...
